To process a National Identity Document (DNI) for the first time for a baby or minor, the following conditions must be met:

👶 The baby must be registered in the Civil Registry and have a literal birth certificate issued for ID card.

🏠 Be registered at the family address, with a recent registration certificate (maximum 3 months).

👩‍👩‍👧 The minor must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians, presenting their valid ID.

📸 Submit a recent color photograph of the baby with a white background.

💶 Pay the current official fee (currently approximately €12), except in cases of large families, where it is free.

⏱️ Request an appointment with the National Police, preferably in the province where the minor resides.
