Frequently Asked Questions about TIE for Newborns
This is a mandatory procedure for newborns. It will grant them access to public healthcare , including pediatric appointments, medical check-ups, and vaccinations. Without this registration, the baby cannot be issued a health card.
The procedure should be carried out as soon as possible after birth , preferably in the first few days, to avoid delays in assigning a pediatrician and to ensure immediate access to medical care.
This procedure must be managed by one of the parents or legal guardians , who must be affiliated with Social Security in order to register the baby as a beneficiary.
The procedure can be carried out in two ways:
✔ Online , through the Social Security Electronic Office with a digital certificate or Cl@ve.
✔ In person , at a Social Security service center (CAISS), by appointment.
If you hire our service, we will take care of managing the registration so you don't have to worry about the administrative procedures.
