FAQs about TIE for Newborns
It is a mandatory procedure for newborns. This will give them access to public healthcare, including pediatric appointments, medical check-ups, and vaccinations. Without this registration, it will not be possible to apply for the baby's health card.
The procedure must be carried out as soon as possible after birth, preferably within the first few days, to avoid delays in pediatrician assignment and ensure immediate access to medical care.
This procedure must be handled by one of the parents or legal guardians, who must be affiliated with Social Security in order to register the baby as a beneficiary.
The process can be carried out in two ways:
✔ Online, through the Social Security Electronic Headquarters with a digital certificate or Cl@ve.
✔ In person, at a Social Security service center (CAISS), by appointment.
If you hire our service, we take care of managing the registration so you don't have to worry about administrative procedures.
